  Can I switch my wordpress.com account to a wordpress.org account and still keep my domain name?

  You can definitely keep your domain name after switching to a self-hosted WordPress.org site. You’ll just need to find out the correct domain name settings from your host – usually a set of name servers – and then you can log into your domain manager and update the name servers.
