Switching from WordPress.com to WordPress.org through Bluehost

    I recently bought a domain through you guys (bethanythomas.org), and tried switching it over to WordPress.org through Bluehost. I am still connected on here, and over on wordpress.org it is saying my domain is parked. I was told I need to transfer the nameserver over to them. Can you help me?

    Hi there,

    bethanythomas.org is properly pointed to Bluehost’s IP address from our end, and if I type that domain in my browser it redirects to a Bluehost-hosted site on the domain, http://www.bethanythomas.biz/. Where exactly are you seeing that the domain is parked?

    You only added that IP address to the domain yesterday, so it could just still be updating – this can take up to 72 hours, and changing name servers won’t fix that, as they can also take up to 72 hours to update. Try clearing your browser cache, but if that doesn’t work, just give it some time.

    If you want to point the domain’s name servers to Bluehost instead, you can do that from the same page where you added the A record yesterday:
