switching my expired domain to the free wordpress.com url

  I let my domain expire, but I would like to still use the name as a free wordpress blog. In my account, I switched my domain name from revealingtheconcealed.com to revealingtheconcealed.wordpress.com.

  But when I search for this wordpress url, it just shows a page saying this domain has expired. How do I convert it to the wordpress.com site? Thanks.

  I can absolutely help you with that.

  Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain revealingtheconcealed.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using revealingtheconcealed.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

  Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

  Thanks for your response. I am in contact with Diego at WordPress who is canceling the domain for me. As long as the blog remains at revealingtheconcealed.wordpress.com, that’s all that matters to me. Thanks!
