Switching Over from Namecheap

  To Whom It May Concern,

  I just purchased a theme that isn’t compatible with the app I had with Weebly – which was what I was using through Namecheap. I plan on switching over to WordPress but would like to transfer my domain name, kristinejiao.com, over to you guys smoothly. Is this possible? Thank you for your time!

  If you purchased a theme from WordPress.com you can use it at WordPress.com. If you purchased a theme elsewhere it is really designed for a self-hosted WordPress.org site and can only be used here at WordPress.com if you upgrade to the Business plan.

  Also WordPress.com doesn’t currently accept incoming domain transfers but if you already own a domain and continue paying for it elsewhere then you can map that domain to WordPress.com by using the domain credit you would be provided by upgrading to a paid plan.
