Syncing instagram to website

I have attempted multiple times to sync my professional instagram to my website however, I keep receiving the message to ‘configure’ but every time I attempt to make changes the message remains the same. I have confirmed that my wordpress is infact synced to my account.

I’m not sure what you mean by syncing, as there is no way to sync data between a WordPress.com site and an Instagram account. If you’re referring to the Instagram widget, all that does is to embed your Instagram feed into a widget area on your site. No data is synced during this process, as the Instagram posts are not actually imported into your WordPress.com site. It just lets your site display the posts directly from Instagram’s servers.
If you’re having trouble connecting the widget, first make sure that your browser allows third-party cookies. If you’re using any browser add-ons that block cookies, you’ll also need to temporarily disable those.
Next, delete your browser cookies, and then log into WordPress.com and Instagram again. Then try to connect the widget, but do it from https://laurenhopegibson.wordpress.com/wp-admin/widgets.php, rather than from the Customizer.
