Tabs on the home page not working.
-
I’m trying to click on the reader tab to read the blogs I follow and nothing is happening. As the matter of fact, none of the tabs are working.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

(1) Are you using the secure https:// login?
http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/(2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you aren’t sure click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/
note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see > http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
a. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies ? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
b. Have you tried updating the browser to the latest stable version? http://browsehappy.com/

I wasn’t using https but now I am, didn’t make a difference. I’m using the latest of firefox, went and updated again anyway, didn’t help. I’ve deleted cookies several times, nothing helps. None of the tabs are working. Reader, notifications, stats…..it’s been this way for while.

I’m sorry what I posted didn’t help you. I have flagged this thread for Staff assistance.

P.S. I have another suggestion. Please try disabling all browser add-ons and extensions. Add-ons like DNT (do not track) and Ghostery can cause this issue.

I went and signed on another computer and I could access the tabs. So it’s looking like there is something up with this computer I’m on now, if that makes sense. lol I guess I need to figure out what is work with the main computer I use.
Thanks for your help. -
Well it’s good news that you can access the tabs using another computer. You’re welcome.

The computer with the problem has window vista and the one that works has windows 7. Could that make a difference?

It’s more likely to be a browser related issue than anything else. You can test this by disabling all browser add-ons and extensions. If there is no issue when you do that, then you can enable each extension/add-on one at a time until you locate the “culprit”.
