Tag 'read more'

  Hello!
  I’m trying inserior tagged ‘read more’ in my blog posts, but I can not. I’ve tried in all posts, only the first one published presents the tag on the homepage. I found no help on existing topics.
  What can I do for work?

  Hi,

  I discovered after several tests that the “Read More” button will not appear in a post excerpt on the posts page unless the tag is added at a certain point in the content, and also that the content must be of a sufficient length for the button to display. The fact that both the featured image and the entire rectangle representing the post on the front page are links to the single post may not be known to your visitors, so I, like you, would prefer that the “Read More” buttons appear.

  You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of this topic to call for staff attention if you’d like to get a more definitive explanation of the results you are obtaining.

  My test results suggest that , in order for the “Read More” button to display, the More tag must be inserted after a certain amount of characters in the post’s text content. I haven’t determined the precise amount.
