Taglines and relations with WordPress when moved to my personal domain

  I thought that going through the tutorial on how to move to the self-hosted domain would be enough for me to move the whole thing but I was concerned about the original function of the site if I moved it. Would the taglines still bring my posts to the reader page? Also would there be no issues with the followers viewing my page? There was also a concern if I was able to fully utilize the WordPress tools if I were to move.
