Tags helpful in google searches?

  Do tags help the general public find your blog, i.e. if someone google’s “Beverly Hills” will they get directed to my blog, Beverly Hills Confidential? Or are tags just good for people following my blog?

  I’d say they’re good for both, since you want to tag your posts for readers anyway.

  With that said, only Google truly knows how Google works, as the last year’s worth of updates to their engine have been kept secret as far as their inner workings go.
