Take my money! Please!

We’d love to pay for services (domain name and redirect), but can’t. We’re a non-profit org, and as a result, it’s not only against our charter to have a credit or debit card, our bank won’t allow it. Paypal does not appear to allow us to open an account where we can pay.

Other online services we pay for have a check debit option – What do we do?

    — Thanks!

I’m sorry but the methods of payment for upgrades here are major credit cards and PayPal only.

Sucks but can one of your members pay with their credit card and then they are reimbursed? You do get a receipt emailed to you when money is spend here.

You could also look into pre-paid Visa gift cards. I don’t know if they’ll work with WordPress, but you can get them at most large retail stores.

We don’t allow our members to pay for repeating charges through their personal accounts for financial safety reasons – part of the reason why I’m in the position is due to over $8000.00 dollars of mistakes made by godaddy charged to a member, and having little recourse due to the complex payback scheme.

As for pre-paid visa, we could do that, but i don’t know of a place that sells one that takes a business type check to start the account.

Guess I’ll keep looking for a host for our stuff – I thought this was the one.

You can pay for prepaid credit cards with cash and put the receipt in to be reimbursed.
