Taking Down Sites on an Inaccessible Account
-
Hello, I am Lilyana (legal name Michael) Botscharow. I edited blogs for my dad, Bernhard ‘John’ Friederick Botscharow, for many years before he passed away. For personal reasons, I would like his wordpress blogs – jbotscharow.wordpress.com and heresiology.wordpress.com – to be taken down, but I have absolutely no access to his recovery e-mail and can’t log in on his admin account any longer. I would like to ask a moderator to please go in and shut down the sites for me, preferably with as few questions as possible as the aforementioned personal reasons are very sensitive and I do not wish to share them publicly.
That said, I would be willing to answer security questions to verify my identity in a private communication, if needed. I can answer just about any question, and even give you a list of all the possible passwords to his account as well as the e-mail address it’s tied to. The only thing I cannot answer is anything sent to his e-mail account itself, as all the information was saved on an old computer I no longer own.
Thank you very much.
