  i would like to get assistance setting up my email. there is also a problem on my wordpress website : the homepage is not visible, though I have it set up as “public”.

  is there a phone number that I can call?

  The Home page of your blog is http://cultivatejustice.org/
  To make the site public go to > Settings > Reading and select option 1 and then scroll down and click changes.

  To set up email see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

  This is a peer support forum where Volunteers and Staff work cooperatively to deliver WordPress.com support. There is no phone support here and we Volunteers do not provide support by email. Volunteers answer the majority of questions posted into forum threads and Staff monitor. When Volunteers cannot provide the required support we flag threads for Staff attention.

  We Volunteers will be happy to answer your WordPress.COM questions right here in this thread. In fact most of us have been answering questions here longer than most Staff have even been on Staff. Please feel free to post exactly what you need help with into this thread, knowing there’s rarely ever a question posted here that has not already been asked and answered.

  Thanks for the help. I’ve got the home page up. Now I can’t figure out how to remove the side bars that I’m not using (recent posts, archives, etc.). I am using this site as a webpage, not really planning to blog regularly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
