  Hi I am new to blogging and computers for that matter. I created a blog : treadingoutthecloth. well I figured a better subject matter and better name : technodivorcefeildguide. i have the technodiv blog on the treading blog and i cant get the username changed to technodivorcefeildguide. because i think i created a new account trying to make a new blog but i couldn’t because i didn’t have a new email, so I cancelled that blog. That blog is my name but i can’t make the the blog i’m writing on have the name technodivporec because wordpress won’t let me. and i want my blog to be technodivorcefeildguide

  ok. i wanted to change the primary blog associated with my email to technodivorcefeildguide. however, i tried to start a new blog in that name before i figured out how to do it on my dash whatever it was…. so I had to cancel the technodivorce blog i tried to start separately. that left the name technodivorce in your system. so now when i try to make technodivorce my primary blog, wp tells me that name is already taken. so i have to use a different one. but i don’t want to. i want technodivorce on my blog as the primary can you do something to help me cuz i’m getting hits and i don’t want treadingoutthecloth on there, at all. ?comprende? please take technodivorce off your system so i can name my blog what i want.

  I think i mean i want technodivorce as my username…does that help?

  you see right to the left of my query is the name treadingoutthecloth and i want it to say technodivorce. and thanks for getting back to me . hallie

  I’m sorry, but deleted blogs cannot be restored or reused. Deleting a blog is permanent and the name cannot be used again. There are several warnings about this on the Tools -> Delete Site page and in the help pages, and you are required to confirm the deletion by email.

  You can start a new blog by logging in to WordPress.com and then going to http://en.wordpress.com/signup/
