Template breaking apart

First off, I’ll apologize to the seasoned vets in here who scoff at coding noobies. My website features a WordPress blog created by a developer who has since taken down his freelance sign. He recently moved my blog files from one domain under another, and I had to re-link a lot of the graphics. Sucked. I can add plug-ins and do some minor code tweaking, but the issue I’m facing now is getting the best of me: I work on a Mac, and the blog design looks fine in Safari and Firefox. Problem is, the template is breaking apart when viewed in IE7 on a PC, and the blog text is running over the template edges. So…can anyone take a peek at my site and make an educated guess as to what I need to focus on?

I’d appreciate any and all input. Blog can be seen at http://www.shallowfishblog.com

    Thanks in advance.

The site you linked to is not hosted here at the wordpress.COM free hosting service. You need to head over to the forum for self-hosted blogs, http://wordpress.ORG/support/ . The software here works differently.

Also, you are using wordpress 2.1.3 which is really old and has security issues. My suggestion would be to upgrade to at least 2.3.3 and 2.5.1 or later would be far better.
