Text bunched up in block editor too much – is it meant to do this?

I did a quick video on what is happening inside my wp WP editor

If you paste text from e.g. Word, you get a lot of crappy html with it.
Best is to write your text directly in the wordpress.com editor. If you really want to copy and past text, best is to write your text in a plain text editor. -
I don’t feel it’s related to that – this is within the editor itself.
I checked the source and there are only <p> and <h> tags.
I’ve just gone back to it though for extra testing and it fixed itself overnight :)
