Text Color Button on blog isn't working

  I have tried to change the color of selected font on my blog and it shows properly in the visual editor, but not on the published pages/posts.

  the home page should have the “Friday & Saturday….” date text in red.

  The text colors in the Visual editor only apply to standard text. Since you have chosen these as “Heading 2”, the theme’s h2 style overrides any color you choose.

  Try sizing and coloring these via HTML in the Text editor tab instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/editors/font-size-color/

  when i tried that it didn’t work, but i will try it again. also, the text below it uses a heading style and still takes on a color, so that’s inconsistent.

  Sorry for the confusion, the text below is using an h2, which the theme is not overriding. The text above is actually using an h1.
