Text links on blog not working

    Hi, I need help with my text links not working after publishing my blog. When I’m editing my blog post the links appear fine. They are highlighted blue and work like they should. However, once the blog is posted the links blend in with the rest of the blog you can only tell it’s a link if you move your cursor over the word, then it turns blue and you can click it. But no one would ever know to do that since it blends in with the rest of the text.

    How I create the links.

    First I typed out the blog, then I highlighted the text I want as a link. Hit the chain, insert the URL and click the square icon with the arrow going through it. I also opt to have it open in a new page.

    Why do the links function fine in the editor but not on the site once published?

    In the second paragraph in the first sentence the words: gratitude, positivity, dream journals, mileage trackers, fishing logs and a few more are links.

    Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Hostgator.

    To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
