Text not centered on mobile devices

    Hi, i am new to blog design. I use Twenty Twenty-Five theme it works on desktops with wide display. But when I tried on my iPhone, which has a vertical display, the text seems to be on the left side . Same thing happens when narrowing the browser window to the limit on the desktop. I tried adjusting both inner and outer block’s alignment but have no progress. Even with no-margin setting, there is always a little space on the right side while the left side has no white space at all. I tested a text with short strings and it still happens so I think its not the warping problem.

    Any idea? Thank you.

    This sounds like a ‘Content Width’ alignment issue rather than a standard margin problem. In the Site Editor, try selecting the main Group or Column block that holds your text and check the Layout settings in the sidebar; ensure the ‘Inherit default layout’ toggle is active, or manually set the alignment to ‘Center’ rather than ‘Left.’ If that doesn’t work, it’s likely that a parent container has a fixed width or a padding rule that only applies to one side. A quick fix is to go to the Styles menu (the half-moon icon), click on Layout, and ensure your ‘Content’ and ‘Wide’ widths are properly defined, as this tells the theme how to center text when the screen gets narrow like on an iPhone.

    Solved.

    I went [Appearance] -> [Editor] -> [Styles] -> [Blocks] -> [Paragraph] -> [TEXT ALIGNMENT] -> [Justify text]

    The spacing of texts still need to be adjusted, but the page looks better now. Thanks for the hints. They were really helpful.

  • Hi @hanabi612

    Glad you got it sorted!

    Just to add for anyone else landing here, this is a good example of how block-level settings (under Styles > Blocks) can affect layout differently from the usual toolbar alignment, especially on mobile.

    If spacing still feels off, it is often coming from the block’s margin or padding or a parent container rather than the paragraph itself.

    Thanks for sharing the exact steps, that’ll definitely help others!

    Cheers!
