  I am trying to add an image to my text widget. I don’t understand how I get the code from the image.

  Hi,

  The easiest way would be to add an image to a empty page or post editor (use Add New to create an empty page/post editor), and then copy and paste the HTML code for the image into a widget.

  You can also add a link to an image in a text widget as described in the Text Widget Links support page.

  A simpler alternative to inserting an image in a text widget is to use an Image Widget.
