The agency who built the website went out of business

    I’m trying to get the full access of my website including managing the plug-ins and assigning roles. The agency who built the website went out of business and I can’t seem to reach them. I’ve the admin credentials for wp-admin but it doesn’t give me the full access. For example I’m trying to change social media links,I can’t do it because I don’t have the proper access.

    You’re posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com, and we can only help with sites hosted on our servers.

    From what you describe it sounds like your site was built using the open source WordPress.org software at another host, which would mean we have no control over it at all. In that case the only people who might be able to give you access to the site is the hosting provider on whose servers that site is hosted.
