FWIW, the image in your today’s post is HUGE both in dimensions and weight (9.1MB) and causes the entire post to load very, very slowly while the image loads. Site visitors won’t wait around, especially anyone visiting on mobile. Additionally, since your site’s Media Library storage is 3GB on the free plan, uploading such large images will also quickly eat up your storage space. Have a look at what dimensions you need for your site’s theme https://wordpress.com/support/media/image-optimization/ and then before you upload your image, resize and optimize it in an image editor.
