The DNS of electshannel.com needs to be redirected
-
I need the DNS servers name re-routed to ns1.bluehost.com and ns2.bluehost.com please and thank you, because for reasons the domain transfer is locked when it shouldn’t be.
-
You’ll change the domain’s name servers following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/change-name-servers/
But, you’ll need to be logged in as the WordPress.com account which owns the domain to do it.
-
Please elaborate because I am not even able to see some of the option to change the DNS in this guide. When you say account which owns the domain, what do you mean?
-
You are not logged in as the account which owns the domain, that is why you cannot modify the domain.
Check your email addresses for renewal notifications or receipts, that is the email address you’ll need to be logged in under.
If you do not recall the password, we have some options for you at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
-
I don’t think you understand, i have no receipts at all from WordPress my only receipt is telling me that the domain I am using has its DNS server pointed to Bluehost BUT when I check it’s POINTED AT AUTOMATTIC INC which is wordpress when it wasn’t supposed to be. The only have verification link I got was a notification of Jetpack being included in my hosting suite. I verified that the day I got it.
Automattic Inc seems to have no human support outside of this. This would be so much easier with go to assist.
-
It looks like the domain registration was suspended because the verification email was never confirmed.
I have just resent that notification.
Please look in all folders of every email account for that notification. Once you find it and verify the domain write back to me here.
Then, you will need to get signed in to the correct WordPress.com user account and from there the DNS records on the domain can be edited. It has to be done through the owners account, though.

Okay but like, that’s not at in ANY OF MY INBOXES, I checked all four of them. I am concerned because how the heck…I am going to try and look at again because this doesn’t make sense at all.
-
I understand this is frustrating. But, we aren’t able to just give out the email address associated with an account or domain registration. Consider that they could be different emails. You did not have to use the one on your WordPress.com account to register the domain.
-
What I’m trying to tell you is that wordpress was never supposed to be the registrant of this domain in first place and given the purpose of this website, I KNOW THAT I ONLY USED THE EMAIL THESE INQUIRIES ARE COMING TO FOR ANY OF IT. So how on earth am I supposed to fix this if you’re system has information recorded wrong!
-
The domain name was registered through us, that process involves quite a few steps, so I’m unsure how “wordpress was never supposed to be the registrant of this domain in first place.”
Domain registrations here must be done under a WordPress.com account, and activating a WordPress.com account requires interacting with a confirmation email.
So, the domain was registered under an email address that its owner had access to at some point.
Please understand that we consider this a security manner, and we absolutely will not hand over domain ownership or account information just because someone claims to be the owner without any of the forms of proof we accept: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/#account-recovery-form

-
Absolutely yes, the domain was registered with us, via a different WordPress.com account than the one you’re currently logged in with, on August 19, 2019.

Okay I figured everything and now really need electshannel.wordpress.com to have its transfer lock lifted so I can just deal with one company if possible.
-
To list the lock and transfer the domain from us, just follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
-
Oh, wait, sorry, I spaced out there.
It is not possible to transfer a domain for 60 days following the registration date or for the 60 day period following a previous transfer, so you won’t be able to do that until October 19.
This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. More info here: https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/text-2012-02-25-en
For now, you can change your domain’s name servers to point elsewhere following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/change-name-servers/
