‘The editor has encountered an unexpected error.’

Hi all,
My team and I are receiving this error when attempting to edit existing posts and create new posts.
I saw through the forum that this is likely due to a plugin issue. We just updated our Yoast to version 12.0.
Does this seem likely and if so, is there any other way to fix this beyond uninstalling Yoast altogether? I’m not seeing any plans for a fix to be released publicly yet.
