The "migrate" button for my followers doesn't work.
-
Hello. I recently switch from wordpress.com to a hosted site, and used Jetpack and other apps to help me duplicate my old site. Now, I’d like to migrate my followers from my wordpress.com blog to the new feed on my hosted site. I followed the instruction in your tutorial, but when I click the “migrate” button as instructed, nothing happens. There is no pop-up confirmation window, or anything. I’m sure this is just a simple glitch. How should I go about fixing it?
As a side note, I want to thank the wordpress staff and helpful users for building such wonderfully detailed tutorials and help pages! This process has been very confusing, and your help has been a godsend to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can help you with that.
Just so we’re on the same page, what is the URL for your old WordPress.com site and the URL for your new self-hosted site?

Thanks! I used the same domain for both, http://clockworktwist.com first to cover the WP.com url and now to cover my hosted url.
The old WP.com site was http://clockworktwist.wordpress.com and the original url of the hosted site is http://192.185.17.126/~cwtwist/Hope that help.

Regarding the above, I noticed that your site’s WordPress installation is still reflecting your host’s IP/user address rather than your domain. You should contact your host and let them know so they can fix it.
It is currently now:
http://192.185.17.126/~cwtwist/
And it should be:
We need to resolve this prior to the subscriber transfer for a number of reasons, mainly because your Jetpack connection won’t work properly and you wouldn’t be able to see your subscribers or send new post notifications to them. It would also impact your site’s shortlinks and any publicized posts as the shared URLs would resolve to the IP address rather than your domain name.
Your host should be able to sort this out for you. Once that’s fixed, I’ll need to make some changes on your settings on our end and will have you do one more thing before we can do the transfer.
Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, I’ll wait to hear back from you!
