The option to Add a New Theme is gone! Why?

    I just bought my domain name through wordpress and a new theme from Theme Forest. I carefully read the installing instructions and it clearly said under appearance there is the option to Add a New Theme (upload) and I’ve encountered tutorials with images that show that procedure clearly…. And now Ive spent my money on this and the option is NOT there.
    How can I do this?? Should I get a refund or is there a way do it?

    Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here: WordPress.com and WordPress.org

    I’d recommend contacting Theme Forest to request a refund for the theme you purchased. If you let me know what theme you purchased, I can help you find out if it’s already available here at WordPress.com.
