    Hey there! A website a lot of my work is on has been showing this error message since June ‘The site is experiencing technical difficulties.’
    I reached out to the owner of the domain and website first in July and she said she just paid a lot of money to keep the site live for one more year. She also said she reached out to WordPress and as of last September is still waiting for a response from WordPress about what is going on with the site.
    I’m trying to get this moving ASAP since my portfolio of writing is on her website. The website is nofearofmissingout.com

    Hi there,

    That site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software made by the community on WordPress.org, and it’s hosted on Bluehost.com’s servers. We’re not able to help with this, as we have no access to nor control over that site.

    That error usually means something has gone wrong during a WordPress Core, plugin or theme update, and only an admin and someone who has access to the site’s hosting account can fix those issues.

    Please refer the site owner to the WordPress.org documentation at https://wordpress.org/support/article/common-wordpress-errors/ for information on how to fix this. They might also need to contact Bluehost for help.
