The "try it now' feature doesn't work

  I clicked on the Custom Design- Try it now button and got this message: “This feature is a part of Custom Design. Purchase to make it live or exit the preview.”
  What did I do wrong?

  Without actually having the Custom Design upgrade, you can only preview Custom Design changes. You can’t view them on the live site.
