The "views today" and "Total views of posts on blog" numbers don't match

  The “views today” and “Total views of posts on your blog” numbers don’t match up. The current numbers say:

  Views Today: 239
  Total views of posts on your blog : 172

  Yesterday’s numbers:
  Views Today: 232
  Total views of posts on your blog : 198

  I am not sure what the problem is.

  I am using
  Wordpress: Version 3.4
  Jetpack :Version 1.4.1
  No caching plugins installed.
  Blog url: http://techtalk.virendrachandak.com/

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your blog is more than just posts. Your Home Pages, category and archive pages, and other pages all count as non-post views.

  I was confused because it does also shows the different pages in the stats.

  However, now I think may be its due to the category pages which are not shown in the stats.
