Theme
-
I have created four different WordPress blogs over the last few years. While creating a new blog recently, I accidentally changed the theme of one of my older travel blogs. The accidental theme does not display the image header, etc. I don’t remember the name of the original theme. Is there a way to ‘revert’ to the previous theme, or to go into ‘theme history’ to find the original theme and change it back? Thanks. — Chris
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Chris,
Previously applied themes can often be detected by checking caches of various Google search results linking to the site. When the desired theme is found, you revert to it by simply activating the theme, but see the Switch Themes section of the Themes support page regarding items which might need to be relocated or replaced. What is the address (URL) of the site?

Thanks. The URL is https://petalumatraveler.wordpress.com. I’m not sure that I understand how to check the caches of various Google search results linking to the site. Would you be able to detect what was the previous theme?

I believe that’s a retired theme, since I don’t recognize it, but there will be no problem getting it activated again, once its identified.

Thank you very much. I can’t identify the theme. How do I identify the theme or add a “modlock” tag?

It should display in the Action bar at the bottom right corner of the Google cache page. Click on the three dot icon beside the Follow link. If the theme name shows it should be given as “Get theme: themename.” I’ve noticed that on Google caches this has been blocked for me lately, possibly due to my browser settings.

“modlook” not “modlock”
If you want to call for staff attention, then add that word to the box labeled “Tags” in the sidebar of this topic, and then click the “Add” button. That’s all. Then just wait for staff to respond. It might take a few hours or more.
