    I just want to delete the theme

    Hi there,

    Can you tell me a bit more about the trouble you are having? It’s not possible to “delete” a theme because WordPress requires that you have at least some kind of theme running on your site.

    However, you can “switch” to a different theme if you wish, which will remove the theme you are using currently. You can choose any theme you see here for example: https://wordpress.com/themes/

    If I can ask, do you happen to have any sites (does not have to be WordPress) that you are drawing inspiration from or trying to emulate? Perhaps we can find a theme in our directory that is a close match.
