Theme applied and deleted content and I NEED to retrieve it!!!

    I need to know how to go back to obtain content that was deleted when I changed the theme. I have no back up copy of content and all of my home page is lost now.

    There is a way you can regain your content from your trash and have it restored.

    Hi there,

    Your site is currently set to display the most recent posts on the front page.

    I do see a page titled Home in your pages list, but it’s not set as the front page at the moment. You can set that as the front page from the Customizer:

    If that’s not the right page, can you give some more details on exactly what’s missing?

    Some of our themes give you the option to enable the theme’s default front page when you switch to the theme. If you choose that option, the theme’s front page is added to your site, and any existing front page you had is set to draft. So all you’d need to do is republish that original homepage, and set it as the front page again.

    But there is no way that changing themes can completely delete any content on your site.
