Theme changes for different authors?

Is it possible to change a header graphic, colors ect in a theme based on the author?
So if I had ten authors, to just change things a bit so there is a different appearance.

Sorry, there isn’t one yet.
Just trying to figure out how to start out right.
Not sure if it would be a theme feature or a plug in.
Going to consolidate eight blogs into one. Currently they all have their own names and styles. To retain some of that, I am wondering if it is possible to swap some graphics and style for each author.

What you asked is not possible at wordpress.COM. You will have to self-host a blog using the software from wordpress.ORG and then “hack” a theme, or find one that allows different designs per author. There might be a plugin that allows that, but still it would most likely require knowledge of CSS and PHP scripting to accomplish it.
