Theme Customize Option isn't working

  The customize themes feature isn’t working… it never brings up the theme and the side bar tools. I click on my theme and get a blank screen with a side bar that says loading tools and nothing happens. Have tried it in three different web browsers, a mac and a pc. Still not working. I’m attempting to purchase a premium theme but I can get a preview of it to be sure it’s what I want.

  Hi there, to use the Customizer, you need to have some content on your front page. Right now, your front page is giving a “page not found” error because it has no content.

  To fix this, select a static page for your front page under Reading > Settings:

  Or, reset your settings to the default by setting the front page to display your latest posts:
