theme doesn't look like the pictures

  Everytime I activate a theme I like, it doesn’t look like the theme at all. It just has the title of my blog near the header and a blog post.

  A theme demo demonstrates some of the features possible with a theme. If you want your site to look just like a demo, it can be done, but you’d better become acquainted with how it was constructed before attempting to do so. Some theme support pages are better at explaining optional features and how they are constructed than others. Most likely you’ll need to consult several other WordPress support pages.
