Theme drama

  Hi,
  Whenever I change my theme and click ‘customize’ – it still shows my old theme and I am only able to make changes to my old theme…. I am publishing them correctly so I’m not sure where i’m going wrong….

  Are you speaking of https://nyx6000.wordpress.com/?

  That site has the Gazette theme active. Our logs show you switched to that theme about 12 hours ago. I also see the same theme if I view your site in the Customizer.

  If you mean it doesn’t look like the theme demo at https://gazettedemo.wordpress.com/, that’s because you will first need to set the theme up like the demo before it will look that way. Activating a theme just enables the specific design and features of the theme. It doesn’t automatically change the layout of your content.
