Theme editing error

    Hi, I have purchased a theme and I want to use a particular layout from the theme for my website. Firstly I have uploaded the zip file of the theme then activated all the plugins and then I tried to add some dummy data. Now while I tried to customize the front page of the website it is not displaying the layout that I have used instead it is displaying some html text. It will be really helpful if someone can solve my issue
    I also tried to reset everything and start from scratch but this time while uploading the layout it got stuck at 65%.
