    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to directly edit your theme’s files, or any of your site’s files, on WordPress.com.

    The only option to change your theme’s appearance is by adding custom CSS, and that requires our Premium or Business Plan.

    If you need to make changes to how your theme actually works, you’ll need to upgrade to our Business Plan which will allow you to create a child theme instead.
