  Hello, I am trying to use the Theme Editor Tab. Unfortunately, it is not showing on my screen as it should. What steps do I need to take in order to get it back?

  Hi there @floydins259, we actually don’t include the theme editor tab with most managed sites here. You would need a business plan to upload custom themes or add custom theme code. Generally I’d advise against editing the theme directly anyway, because if you do it there, updates will overwrite your changes.

  Can you let us know what you’re hoping to do with the theme editor, and also send a link to the site? We’ll check it out and point you in the right direction for support.

  I am trying to add an analytics tag so we can track our ads and how we can improve.

  Your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
