Theme Error Message
-
I received this following error message from WordPress. I have tried contacting my hosting provider Godaddy and they claim the issue is not on their end. I have tried deleting the theme I was using and get an error message saying the theme isn’t available. I am not sure what to do!
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 9 of the file /var/www/wp-content/themes/Divi/core/components/init.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘ET_Core_Cache_Directory’ not found in /var/www/wp-content/themes/Divi/core/components/init.php:9

The site you are referring to appears to be a self-hosted WordPress (also called “.org”) site hosted on GoDaddy Web Hosting, and not a site hosted on our WordPress.com service.
To clarify, we are not the only providers of WordPress sites, and GoDaddy also happens to offer WordPress sites, but they use a different version of the platform than what we use here. Because of this we are not able to help with your issue as it lies outside of our system. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ for more info.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here in the WordPress.org (not WordPress.com) forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Hope that points you in the right direction!
