Theme not updating

  Hello! I am having a problem whenever I update my theme. I am using wordpress’s Hemingway Rewritten. Whenever I make updates, it does not save or show on my blog. I have cleared my caches so that is not the problem. Not quite sure what to do to make changes to my blog… thanks!

  What updates are you making? Posts? Pages? Changes to the theme?

  changes to the theme. specifically the background color and font. easy stuff that should be protected in the free theme, right?

  No. You cannot change the fonts without the Custom Design upgrade unless you hand-code your blog posts, and even then you cannot change header or widget fonts.
