Theme question
-
Hi there,
I have the Profile theme activated for my blog and I’m having issues getting the social media icons to show up on my blog home page. Any help would be appreciated on solving this issue!
Also, I can’t figure out how to make it a 3-column blog. I’ve tried everything in my menu to change it but can’t seem to figure it out.
Thanks,
Kasey Coffey

Hi Kasey,
The social icons in the Profile theme are only displayed on static pages using the Home Page template. Because your front page displays your latest posts, the social icons won’t appear there.
To display the social icons, you can set a static page as your front page and use the Home Page template on that page. Before you make any changes, though, the Profile theme author is currently checking to see if they can update the theme so the social icons can be displayed on your blog page:

The Profile theme does not have a three-column layout for the blog, but it does have a three-column layout for static pages. When creating a new page, you can choose “Three Column” as the page template under Page Attributes > Template.
Please let me know if you have any other questions about this!
