Theme Restoration

We recently experienced several issues with our website (malware, downtime, dns problems). We were finally able to bring our website back up and running, but now our original theme is not working and we’ve had to revert the theme design to something generic. We had been using a child theme of the parent theme called Peddlar, but now when we try to install or preview the theme, our site breaks again. Is it possible to restore our website’s previous theme? We want to avoid having to redesign it from scratch.

Hi @iprcpdx, if your theme is crashing, can you contact their support directly? They may require updated plugins, for example.
Also, please note these forums are for the sites hosted and managed here at WordPress.com, vs sites using WordPress code with another host. If you’re not sure about your site, send a link and we can point you in the right direction. If it is definitely hosted somewhere else, we’d recommend searching and posting in the forums for the free WordPress software, although in this case since it’s theme-specific you’ll want to reach out there first.
