Theme update causing problems

    This is a site I administer http://www.map-kington.co.uk, the site had several updates due, I backed up the files and saved the zip file on my laptop. Applied the updates to the site and now the site has serious problems. Displaying the following error message:
    Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /websites/123reg/LinuxPackage23/ma/p_/ki/map-kington.co.uk/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 622
    I attempted to restore the backup but still got the same error message.
