Theme will not update

    Hi, I have a self-hosted wordpress site. For an unknown reason the theme will not update. I have updated wordpress and all plugins, but my themes – twenty seventeen (active) and twenty fifteen (inactive) keep giving me the error…..
    Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. Whenever i try update.     I do not have access to the cpanel (its not my site) so I called the host and asked the technicians to look at the cpanel for me and see if they could fix it. they found nothing wrong on their side, but its still not working. What is causing this issue and how do I fix it?? many thanks
