Hi there,
That question is much to vague and general and impossible to answer, as it depends on whether you’re speaking of an image that forms part of the theme, like a custom header image, or a picture in the content of a post or page, and the answer would also be different for every theme, depending on how the theme adds in pictures that form part of the theme.
What site and what theme are you working with, and which picture exactly are you referring to?
If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please contact support for the specific theme you’re using instead. The WordPress.com forums where you’ve posted now only provides support for free sites hosted on WordPress.com, and the themes we make that are listed at wordpress.com/themes

Thanks for the quick response.
My site is: http://www.myfrigginstroke.com, the theme is cgs travel agency
However, when I change the theme image to this one that doesn’t cover the whole screen it shows when you first login to the site but doesn’t show on any of the pages.
Can I ask that you look at the site and maybe you can determine what might be wrong? I am new to this and tried to resolve myself with google searches but have had no luck. I would appreciate it.
