There has been a Critical Error
-
I received the following message after updating plugins on my WordPress site, padp.org:
There has been a critical error on this website.

I can’t log in to deactivate any plugins because the website just has the error message and won’t display a login screen. Even if I could log in, I don’t know which plugins are problematic.

Hey @ianpereirawebber, sorry to hear that!
Can you ask your host to check your error logs to see if they can help you see which plugin or theme is causing trouble? Then, after making backups, they can likely help you uninstall the theme or plugin manually like so:
https://wordpress.org/support/article/managing-plugins/#manual-uninstallationYou can also as your host to restore a good backup for you, if they have one.
Going forward, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations:
