There is a problem with this website's security certificate? This is popping up
-
When I click onto Recent Posts (sidebar widget) on my blog I get this notice, “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate” and it won’t let me click onto one of my past posts.
Can you assist and let me know why this is happening. It’s telling viewers my site is not to be trusted?
My theme is Twenty-Ten.
Please help me on this, my blog is: http://www.oilpastelsbymary.com

Hi ,
I’m not using a mobile app – trying to access my own “Recent Posts” through my laptop.
I noticed that there are threads from other bloggers that they are getting this Certificate Warning from mobile devices. It seems that the issue isn’t resolved and now it’s moved onto regular blog access.
Quick way to lose viewers, if they think that my blog is unsafe to visit. Please advise. Thanks, Mary

I noticed the links for each “Recent Posts” thread are: https:// rather than http://
Does this have anything to do with getting “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.” warning message?
I’m also not getting any more people visiting the blog – please help.

@flycatcher – starting many many threads on the same thing assures that you will confuse those that might help you and causes much extra work cleaning up after you

So I just went into edit one of the “Recent Posts” to see the link, and guess what the link is as it’s suppose to be http:// not https://.
That tells me that something has happened internally with wordpress, not how I’m creating my posts.
Can someone please assist with the issue. Thanks, Mary

Thank you they are all working. I am now able to click onto all of the posts on Recent Posts side-bar menu and they all working with no Certificate Warnings.
Thank you for the fix. Mary
