Thinking about upgrading to the Premium Plan

  I am interested in upgrading my free plan to the premium plan, but I’m curious to know how that will change things. Specifically the url. Once I upgrade, will my URL still have wordpress.com in it?

  Once you set up a custom domain name (included with all paid WordPress.com plans), your site URL will change to that custom domain. So instead of johnsmith.wordpress.com, your site viewers will see johnsmith.com.

  Does that make sense?
