Thirdparty Templates

  Do I have to upgrade to upload a third party template? I bought a template from StudioPress and GoDaddy is hosting my WordPress, what do I need to do to get this to work?

  You cannot use any third party themes period.

  There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes, create child themes or our own themes or edit templates.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different log-ins. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
