This account was a mistake that just created itself when I tried to sign in on google. I need to get rid of it. I fear it will cause trouble for the webmasters. But the platform is threatening to wipe out all wordpress sites related to this. I am too nervous to say yes, because it can associate itself [through google] to my websites

  Yes, if you delete the account, you will also delete all the site connected to the account. However, there is no need to do that. You can just delete the one site and keep the rest of the sites under the account intact.
